Heimtextil 2026: three AVA Leather Group articles selected by Alcova for the Trend Area.
Three of our leathers have been selected for the Trend Area of Heimtextil 2026 (Trend Arena Hall 6.1), a space dedicated to innovation, craftsmanship, and outstanding materials for interior design. The selection was curated by Alcova, one of the leading international trend agencies and a key reference for designers and interior design brands. Each year, Alcova identifies materials capable of anticipating future styles and directions.
This year’s focus is on handmade processes and craftsmanship, with the theme “craft is a verb”, which encourages a rediscovery of human intuition and the beauty of irregularity. It’s a way to open new creative perspectives, in contrast with the efficiency, precision, and omnipresence of artificial intelligence.
The selected products are:
- Vacchetta Light Grey: semi-aniline leather with a soft, lightweight hand and a fine, even natural grain
- Selvaggio Bordeaux: aniline cowhide finished with waxes, featuring a brilliant, intense vintage look
- Nigeria Tobacco: smooth aniline cowhide, soft and silky to the touch, with a natural appearance
At the AVA booth, you will also find additional collections dedicated to the interior and contract sectors, such as Harmony and Alternative. Harmony is a semi-aniline cowhide leather with exceptional softness and a matte finish, enhanced with an effective “grip” touch for comfortable seating and refined furniture applications. Alternative is a semi-aniline leather with a smooth, silky hand and a bright, natural look, perfect for high-design furniture pieces. Many Harmony and Alternative articles are available for immediate delivery from our Arzignano facility, in the heart of the Veneto Leather District, thanks to our NOW service.
